Cosmic Crash is the sixth world in Plants vs. Zombies: The Wacky House. It takes place in an unidentified planet in outer space, where once again the player must use Heliumthus in order for their plants to survive.
This world takes place in an unidentifined planet in outer space. The player needs Flower Pots and Heliumthuses to plant here, due to the lack of oxygen and the planet's extra-terrestrial soil.
Sometimes a surprise attack called "Meteor Shower!" occurs, where 5 meteors kill 5 plants, and then leave a 50-second long crater. These can be prevented with Umbrella Leaf, however only if they are within their range, and they also kill themselves while doing so.
Its parallel counterpart is Planetary Plantations.
Order of Events[]
Upon completion of Du Froid Déjà Vu, the player leaves their hometown once again. This time, Zomboss has planted the house in deep space.
The player recieves a brochure which notifies them of the planet's mutated soil and its lack of oxygen; letting them know that they will need both Flower Pot and Heliumthus to plant regular plants in this world.
Once Cosmic Crash-14 has been beaten, the player recieves a note which gives a warning of an incoming huge attack. This leads into the boss battle, where the Wormhole-Warlord is fought.
Once beaten, the player unlocks the next world, The High Sky, and this world's parallel variant, Planetary Plantations.
New plants[]
- Flower Pot - Lets you plant on unnatural surfaces.
- Peateor - Shoots moon peas in a large range, can breathe in outer space, and be placed in non-soil terrain.
- Allium - Lobs glowing globs at zombies, destroying all copies of that zombie.
- Cometgranate - Fires comets that deal increasingly amounts of damage to up to three targets. Its comet can pierce through wormholes.
- Cosmic Pea - Blasts enemies with cosmic energy dealing huge amounts of damage, and also launches a weaker projectile when the blast ends.
New zombies[]
- Galactic Zombie - Regular space-variety zombie.
- Galactic Conehead - Well-protected by chrome roadcone.
- Galactic Buckethead - Greatly protected by its chrome bucket.
- Galactic Flag Zombie - Signals a huge wave of out-of-this-world zombies.
- Asteroid Launcher Zombie - Launches durable asteroids that block projectiles.
- Extra-terrestrial Zombie - Clones itself twice every few seconds.
- Galactic Gargantuar - Smashes your plants and shoots its Galactic Imp when approaching death.
- Galactic Imp - A gremlin who is launched out of its Galactic Gargantuar.
- Wormhole Zombie - Protects itself from almost all direct damage.
Levels[]
Difficulty[]
The difficulty has ramped up even more, with the player needing at least two other plants to plant even a simple Sunflower. Although gimmicks are not as plentiful as the previous world, the ones present are each extremely impactful, adding up to an overall tougher experience.
Notes[]
Each level starts with three columns of Flower Pots and Heliumthuses planted for the player.
*Prizes that are not money bags are unlocked only first time.
Brain Busters and Minigames[]
Brain Busters[]
Two Brain Busters appear in this world. They can be found in:
- Level 6-3: Last Stand - Plan your defense and defeat the zombie onslaught.
- Level 6-13: Special Delivery - Protect the endangered plants throughout the level.
Clone Chaos[]
The minigame found in Cosmic Crash is named Clone Chaos. Here, Extra-terrestrial Zombies appear in large amounts and with the new power to create and clone Dull-shrooms, which are plants that have literally no use. They cannot even stall zombies, as the zombies ignore them. They can be shoveled up, however.
