Solar Peashooter is a premium plant in Plants vs. Zombies 2 that can be purchased in the store for 4.99$.
Origins[]
Like most other peashooting plants, the Solar Peashooter is based on the plant Pisum sativum. The term peashooter is normally used to refer to a toy version of a blowgun, or as a slang for small or low-caliber firearms. The name also refers to the fact that peashooter shoots peas.
Effects[]
Solar Peashooter shoots sunlight peas that can do splash damage in 3x1 area. Solar Peashooter also has 25% chance to shoots ultraviolet peas, which cause that zombie that got hit directly by ultraviolet pea produce sun in 10 seconds (1 second = 25 sun, total 250 sun). Both of his attack deals 1,75 NDS.
He has another unique ability that: If player manages to tap him in 3 seconds, he will shoot a large sunlight pea that does 60 NDS in 3x3 area, then infects zombies with Sun Bean's effect in 4x4 area. However, after performed this action, Solar Peashooter needs to be cooldown in 15 seconds before he can attack again. He can also increases nearby plants' attack speeds in 3x3 area (excluding other Solar Peashooters).

Why zombies hates sunlight? Ask Solar Peashooter "Because the sunlight would burn zombies' skin". He's sending sunlight to the zombies.
Plant Food[]
When fed Plant Food, Solar Peashooter creates a heat wave that slowly damage all zombies and cause all sun-producing plants produce extra 25 sun in 1 minute.
