Inferno (sometimes referred as In-Fern-No) is a plant in PvZ: Legendary Lands and Plants vs. Zombies: Bizarre Anomalies, which appears as the second Bonus Plant obtained after completing Subzero Hills.
Overview[]
Inferno is based on fern, a member of a group of vascular plants that reproduce via spores and have neither seeds nor flowers. The name Inferno is a portmanteau of inferno, in this case refers to conflagration, a large uncontrolled fire, and fern, the plant he's based on.
Gameplay-wise, Inferno throws sticks that are set on fire to 2 tiles in front of it, that can melt Blockhead Zombie's icy headwear and also frozen blocks. Statistics-wise, he has 5 NDB/500 dpb of health, he deals 10 NDS/200 dps of damage, he costs 250 suns, with 30 seconds recharge.

Plant Food Ability[]
When fed Plant Food, Inferno spreads burning sticks all around the lawn, dealing 40 NDS/800 dps of damage every second to all zombies in the tile with burning sticks, and lasts for 5 seconds.
Pepper-mint Effect
When boosted by Pepper-mint, Inferno will do an additional 150 dps for both normal damage and Plant Food damage. Ignited sticks thrown will also have higher chance of melting Blockhead Zombies' icy protection and frozen blocks.
