The Grenadia explodes when planted, doing massive damage (1800 damage per shot) in a 3x3 area like a Cherry Bomb, but also spreads seeds and pulp within a 5x5 area. The black, hard seeds act like already armed Potato Mines, but they only do half-massive damage (900 damage per shot), and it scatters five of them around.
The pulp will slow down Zombies that walk over it, and will last for a minute, before it disappears. It spreads pulp on five random spaces too.
Seeds and pulp cannot land on spaces that already have plants on, so keep that in mind. The pulp and seeds can also end up in water, on roof tiles and so on.
It is unlocked at the start of FP: Underground or, in PvZ:TFS, after beating the Super Sun side path in Dark Volcano.

It is based on the fruit of the real-life plant Passiflora ligularis, also known as the sweet granadilla or grenadia.
Appearance[]
An orange-yellow spherical fruit with a sombrero (referencing the fact that the real-life plant is commonly found in mexico) and with a cheerful expression.

Strategies[]
Use this as a specialized Cherry Bomb, as not only will it kill a group of Zombies, but it can also hold them back for a while with the seeds and pulp, allowing you some time to rebuild damaged defenses.
