Attanashields are defensive-offensive plants that raise their shields against weak zombies and attack strong zombies.

Overview

Attanashields have 60 ndb of health in their defensive form. They show no visible signs of deterioration. Zombies that have the strength of a buckethead or lower are met with Attanashield's defensive form.

When a zombie with health higher than a buckethead is in front of Attanashield, it will assume an offensive form. Here it shoots seeds that deal 1.25 normal damage shots. When the zombie gets closer, it will slice at it, dealing 3 normal damage shots. It will still shoot at the zombie, however, dealing a total of 4.25 nds when it is close. Attanashield will still do damage to a strong zombie even if that zombie's health becomes lower than a buckethead's.

If a weaker zombie gets an Attanashield's health low, near the 10 nds mark, it will start to attack the zombie.

A slice deals damage to the every zombie on the tile ahead of it, even if there are some weaker ones on it.

If a weaker zombie gains health some way, as through potions or King Zombies, Attanashield will recognize it as a stronger zombie.

Attanashield is based off of the genus of Ananas, which includes the pineapple. Its name is a portmanteau of "Ananas," "attack," and "shield."

Plant Food Ability

Using Plant Food on an Attanashield will cause it to gain an extra 15 ndb of health. This can exceed its maximum health if it is in its defense form, and the health will carry over between forms. It will also send 3 large seeds down its row, where each deals 15 nds of damage. These pass through zombies.
